Would you like to better understand how your identity is shaped by your life experiences and culture?
Bryan Luna, MHC-LP (he/him)
I’m Bryan, a cisgendered Latino therapist who understands the complexities that can come with navigating identity, family, culture, and expectations. I strive to create a space where you can be open about your experiences, explore difficult emotions, and make sense of the experiences that have shaped you.
I have a particular interest in working with first-generation and immigrant clients who may find themselves balancing cultural traditions with the expectations of life in the United States. I also work with men who are navigating emotional expression, relationships, identity, self-worth, and the pressures of traditional expectations around masculinity.
My practice is grounded in a person-centered and strengths-based approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as psychodynamic and acceptance-based approaches to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. Together, we can explore how your past experiences and cultural background may influence the way you see yourself and connect with others, while developing practical tools to support meaningful change.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, emotional disconnection, and difficulties navigating family or cultural expectations. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for a better understanding of yourself, therapy can be a space to slow down, process what you have been carrying, and create a path forward that feels authentic to you.
